The meat pounder is excellent especially for meats you want to “spread” as you pound them since it is a wide surface and your hand placement is in a better position to manipulate the pounding surface. Unlike the hammer style in which you have little control other than force.
Easy to use. Excellent material quality. Perfect grip. Solid and compact. Great value for the price point. Pounds meat well. Good for crushing nuts. Extremely pleased.
This is my favorite meat tenderizer I’ve tried the paddle type with a long handle. I’ve tried the hammer type, and I do a lot of cooking and entertaining this by far works wonders also works well for crushing garlic.
If you enjoy making cutlets, this is a must have tenderizer. The grip takes a bit to get used to but the product is well built, sturdy, easy to use and cleans up easily.. it’s a bit on the heavy side, but that makes for easy pounding. A little pricey but well worth it! I definitely recommend it!
This meat tenderizer is so much better than the traditional hammer. It flattens meats a lot more evenly without creating thin spots.
